Hydra Constructors is built on a career spent entirely in glass and glazing. Our roots start on the field side in 2006, installing glass, windows, and commercial glazing systems — and that hands-on foundation still shapes every drawing and estimate we produce today.
Over the years that experience grew from the field into estimating and project management, leading commercial and high-end residential facade projects across Southern California. We deliver curtain wall, storefront, all-glass, and residential window systems from preconstruction through closeout, including OSHPD, DSA, and PLA-compliant work with full attention to waterproofing, sealants, and fire-rated assemblies.

Rami Shinnawi founded Hydra Constructors and leads the team behind every drawing, takeoff, and project we deliver. He began in the trade in 2006, installing glass, windows, and commercial glazing systems in the field before moving into estimating and project management.
Today Rami brings that full-cycle perspective to every project. He has led commercial and high-end residential facade work across Southern California, delivering curtain wall, storefront, all-glass, and residential window systems from preconstruction through closeout. His background spans waterproofing, sealants, and fire-rated assemblies, along with OSHPD, DSA, and PLA-compliant project experience.
Rami holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Cleveland State University. He is fluent in the tools the industry runs on, including AutoCAD, Logikal, Bluebeam, and Procore, and known for constructable solutions grounded in local means and methods, a real understanding of the vendor landscape, and drawings and estimates that reflect how a job actually gets built and priced.
